I remember a long time ago I had these action figures from rgb. Each gb came with a proton pack, a small ghost, and something else that I can't remember. And the proton guns had a fake stream coming out of them. I also had the
ecto-1 from gb2. It was so much fun playing with them. I knew they couldn't do much but that didn't matter.

Besides Ecto-1, the Ray Stanz and Winston Zeddemore figures from the first series, the Peter Venkman from Power Pack Heroes, and the Egon Spengler from Fright Features. That was thirteen years ago, and I though the Winston figure has broke, the Ray, Peter, and Egon figures are still with me. Along with the '59 Caddy.

Ahh I used to have the greatest - a water pistol proton pack! The pack was the water reservoir, the thrower was a pump-driven water pistol. Got it in a showbag the year the first movie came out (yes, I went and saw it at the cinemas O_O) Also got some slime in the showbag, a glow in the dark cloth frisbee with the logo...some stickers...great stuff ^_^

Well, as far as the RGB toys are concerned, I really got a big kick out of the Proton Pack/Trap combo. Everyting you need to be a Real Ghostbuster!
However, I think EGB version of the ECTO-1 is a close second. While not as durable or true to the movies/show, it still has a TON of features, including lights, sounds, spring loaded missiles, even a working ghost trap (of the old-school RGB design, no less!) Best of all, it could still fit all of the old RGB action figures!

My favorite GHOST BUSTER toy was Ghost Buggy. My favorite GHOSTBUSTER toy was the Proton Pak. The spaced name is more Filmation related. Non spaced is Columbia. So most people's answers were being refered to the wrong series.
I liked the Proton Pak because you could play out Ghostbusters as yourselves instead of using the figures. I remember many Saturday afternoons spending them at my friend's house and we'd go catch ghosts.
Ghost Buggy was fun because you could transform him into several different vehicles like the cartoon. There was the car, rocket, & submarine.

MY FAVORITES
The ghostbusters board game: My Brother won this in a poster contest for anti-smoking poster contest. This was right when the original GB movie was popular. He drew the no-ghost logo with a cigarette in his fingers. It had a catchy phrase too. I loved this game though. It had trap doors, and a skull that would knock your game piece over.
Ghostbusters Play Dough toys: I had an ecto-1 that would mould a ghostbuster (peter, i think) his weapon, and a ghost. you could take the mould you had and have him drive the ecto-1 too!
Real Ghostbusters stamp pad: I had a post about this if anyone can help me. The Pad can with a blue ink stamp pad, and ten stamps. four stamps of each ghostbuster(full body), four close-up stamps of each ghostbuster with a catchy phrase like "We're here to save the world." It also included a no-ghost stamp, and a slimer stamp. Hours of inky fun!
Ghost projector: this toy would project RBG ghosts on the wall, and make a scary sound. This was just plain fun.
Ghostbuster Equipment: This was a classic set of toys, I think this is about all of them. Proton pack w/ id card and arm band, working trap /w glow in the dark ghost, crank proton pack gun, made a foam particle beam rotate around ecto goggles w/ pop gun brackets and pop gun; this shot foam bullet things when you squeezed it.
I also liked the peter that had the eye popping action, and his hair would fly up too. I always would turn his hair backwards. It looked funny.

I loved all my GB toys. I'd have to say the best was Xmas:1989, when i got the Real GhostBusters Firehouse with extra cans of slime. I was sooo happy my Ghostbusters (the ones that did double-takes) had a place to call their own. Then I got the Ecto-1. Man, those were quality toys. I just wish I didn't give them to my lil brother. They're probably in shambles right now. : hudder::
