We'll definitely see Stay-Puft if they adapt the first movie...but if they start after that it's questionable. RGB glassed over the fact that Stay-Puft was essentially a new form of Gozer, and was blown to bits, and has him as this childlike creature living in the Contaiment Unit. And never bothered to explain that.

But defintely put me down for RGB's Big Three: Samhaine, the Bogeyman, and Sandman.

I can't say I really liked the ghosts in RGB as they were more like living monsters than ghosts.

I would like to see some classic ghosts but would prefer the ones from the movie such as the Library Ghost.

If Stay Puft is to be in it then it must be a form of Gozer. To change that part of the story and make it an individual character ruins the joke.

The "Big Three" would be great, definetly. I also kind of liked the Grundel, though I think he should go through a bit of a redesign; something that tempts children to go wrong should be a little more subtely evil, since he makes the child feel like they're in the right. RGB's black cloaked, red-eyed, raspy voiced figure was a little overboard. He might as well have a big sign saying "Look! I'm evil!"

Maybe you guys are forgetting, but the GB Comic is not going to have anything to do with RGB... so don't get your hopes up about seeing the RGB Ghosts, as cool as they may be.

smile I think thry should bring back Walter J. Peck. Well it's not a ghost but he was really evil in the ghostbusters film. For the ghosts I was thinking lets bring in the ultimate evil...Satan himself. Would be great because this is bigger than what they have handled before.

smile Regards,

Robert.

Happy ghostbusting. smile

ShadesMcPherson, maybe YOUR forgetting that this comic is being designed primarily for GB fans, and if the GB fans want some RGB Villians in the comics you can bet your bottom dollar that 88mph will give serious thought into putting these Fantastic charecters into the comic some point in time.

So guys, make sure you all let 88mph to know that sometime during the comic's run you would love to see some of those great villains take on the new GBs, considering they have been very good listeners so far, I think it wouldnt be too much trouble for them to dedicate an issue or two to Sam Haine or the Boogeyman.

Hopefully when it comes down to having RGB stuff in the new comic, I hope they ignore the fans. It shouldn't be there wink

Some of the villians are okay, just the big ones though, like Sam Hain.

Mav, haven't they been listening to the fans so far? The Ghostheads said "We don't want the Real Ghostbusters, we want Four Guys In Grey Who Kinda Look Like Murray,Aykroyd, Ramis, and Hudson", and that's what we got. If a lot of fans say "We want the Boogeyman and Samhaine", then we'll probably get them.

And Graves is right about the Grundle. That guy'd more likely scare the crap out of a kid than entice them.

"Four Guys In Grey Who Kinda Look Like Murray, Aykroyd, Ramis, and Hudson"

WHAT!? tongue I thought it was "Four Guys In Tan Who Kinda Look Like Murray, Aykroyd, Ramis, and Hudson"! tongue

I 100% want to see Sam Hain, the Boogeyman, and the Grundel in this Comic. They were the coolest Ghosts/Monsters in the entire Ghostbusters Franchise! smile smile smile

But what about the Peoplebusters? I don't think that we'd actually see them in this Comic. I can't really picture them in it. They probably won't be used. If they were used, they'd need to be made serious looking, and less goofy. And they'd have to be scary, and not goofy. They'd need a different logo. Winston would need a Counterpart. And they'd all have to slightly resemble the Ghostbusters, some what, like how the how the Peoplebusters slightly resembled the Real Ghostbusters. But I really can't see the Peoplebusters in this Comic. They were too goofy and kiddie, anyway.

I loved the whole idea of New York's Counterpart, Boo York, the Big Pumpkin, though.

"Hey, Boo York. The Big Pumpkin. What a town" wink

The Scolari Brothers were cool. But I don't think we'll see the Scolari Brothers, unless there's a Graphic Novel Adaption of Ghostbusters II. That would be cool. Especially if the added in the deleted scenes from GB II. smile smile smile

Well, since this new ghostbusters comic is taking place directly after or with an adaptation to the ghostbusters movie, in the new ghostbusters timeline, there would be no mention of sam hain, the boogeyman, and the sandman, so they can redesign them a bit and create a story line or acouple story lines around them. So in a way, the villains would be brand new, since in that ghostbusters timeline, they have never been introduced in the series.

I dont know if Im making sense, its sort of late.

No, it makes perfect sense. Having RGB villains doesn't mean they have to rehash the RGB episode they came from, we could run into Samhaine, the Boogyman, and the Sandman in completely different story lines and scenarios. Plus, for the people who find them too "silly" for the comic, they can easily be redesigned as more sinister. It'd be like all those X-Men spin offs that try to start the series over and have all the X-Men pop up in different places, only it wouldn't suck like a Hoover. (Apologies to any good X-Men spin offs, but the one I saw was awful.)

I can see the People Busters in the new comic after some major revamping. This would work especially well with the idea of an alternate world. A world where every living being has a ghostly counterpart. I could see a whole story where people are dissappearing and everytime a person dissappears, a zombie or ghost like version of that person appears in the human world.

The reasoning would be that every time a ghost counter part crosses over to the human world, it pushes its human counter part into the ghostly world. When one of the humans tries to get back to the real world one of the people busters chases him into the human world, thus pushing one of the ghostbusters into the ghost world.

It could certainly be interesting if done in a serious adult way instead of the kids way like on RGB. In fact, they could even change them name from People Busters to something else. Maybe the Living Eliminators or something.

Anyway, this is just a thought on how to incorporate it.
