 i tried to run the GBD2.bat or whatever and it says i have a bad command name? I'm not sure what's going on here. thanks.

also another thing i found out it's doom 95? it's doom 2 but i didn't know if that would make a difference. dang it i wannt play this GBD2 so bad! but alas...

do you have zdoom? that's kind of an important file for gbdoom

I could never, ever get this thing to work. I will tell you what I have downloaded in my folder. I have Doom2, GBD2 and the Zdoom122. I extracted the files they all contained. I keep hearing that it doesn't need boom but the GBD2 that I downloaded of of Mat's link was the one from the Ghostbusters Doom site that required the Boom so I am little confused by this. I tried to play the game after I have downloaded the three things and at first it said I don't have PlayPal. I don't know what that means. I also remembered that with GBD2 file you download from the Ghostbusters Doom site, you have to edit the Z-gbd2 batch file. It know reads:
"Boom.exe -deh Gbd2.deh -file gbd2demo.wad gblevels.wad colmaps.wad" (minus the qoutation marks) My new error now says: Bad Command or File name. I really don't know what to do and I am repeatedly confused when all I have to download is the old Boom dependant GBD2. The links for the GBD2 that doesn't require Boom do not work for me. If anyone could help me get the darn thing working I would appreciate it. BTW, I have Windows 95. **Update** The only problem is this: W_GetNumForName: STCFN033 PlayPal not found!

"bad command or file name" self explanitory; you're missing one of the files. as for the paypal(playpal?) thing I have no clue what that is.

Well I'm trying to download the gbplayers.zip file. I'm not sure if this is the file I'm missing. But I'm still getting same error I mentioned in my update. It was PlayPal by the way. **Update** Apparently gbplayers.zip wasn't the file I needed. If I knew what PlayPal was I might have a better chance to make this thing work.

when i try to download the zdoom or the game an error message pops up that says to change the settings so the computer will allow it to download games or somthin. So what do i do? for the record i have a windows XP.

i load the bots up and it says they dont exist ive downloaded the bots zip but it dont work
