I'm not, really, I'm just asking, because Encore and Encore Mystery are going to be showing the original and remake, as well as "Day of the Dead."

BTW: I don't know if anyone else knows, but the new "Living Dead" movie is going to be called "Escape of the Living Dead." I can only assume a Resident Evil-like storyline where experimental zombies escape or something....

I love Night of the Living Dead! Of the two, the original is better than the remake (the remake is too pc). Day of the Dead is cool too, but Dawn of the Dead was cooler. Hey, has anyone here seen City of the Living Dead? I haven't but was wondering if it was worth a rental tongue

I love all three in the original trilogy, and now they're remaking Dawn!

I love those movies, dude. Check out that picture over to the left. Its the dude from Dawn. You guys know that in October(or November) theyre releasing 2 special edition dvds of Dawn and Day?

And Cliff.....where did you hear about this "Escape of the Dead"? If something like that IS being made....it has nothing to do with George Romero or the Dead Trilogy. Romero has talked about making a fourth movie but never actually gone through with it. AND....that "Escape from the Dead" is a cheezy name.....Romero wouldnt use that. He's already made a statement that IF he does another, it will be called "Twilight of the Dead" or "Dead Reckoning".

Night of The Living Dead is a classic! The remake is ok too! I like the other parts of the "Dead" Trilogy as well (Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead). There are soooo many different versions of Night of the Living Dead on DVD.

Night of the Living Dead is definitely a horror classic. 'Carnival of the lost souls' is a must see. 28 days later is an awesome flick for all horror fans to check out as well. mad

they're all ill. dawn has the hottest storyline but day has the nicest special effects and makeup. romero is godly and he created the zombie genre. i've grabbed up alot of bootleg zombie flicks from the 70's recently. they're garbage compared to romero's shit. i heard that he's working on a script for a new one where the human population is only in the high hundreds and low thousands and they live in small camps scattered across the world. zombies have began to feast on other zombies and animals because there's basically no more humans on earth. definitely would be ill if romero made this flick.

I love the hole Zombie genre and all but its went down hill. I really hated 28 days later for some odd reason. Also the remake of Night of the living dead was a let down i think. I mean it was directed by the king of splatter and barely had splatter.Im looking foreward to seeing these new movies though.

Sounds like a sequel to Dawn and Day to me tongue That's basically what the world was like in those flicks.

Anyone here ever seen Return of the Living Dead? Such an awesome movie that was.

Well, mr pecker, FYI I got the info on "Escape" straight from John Russo, creator of the original "NotLD."I don't know if any of you have read "Fangoria" over the last few months, but Mr. Russo himself is heading a movie workshop over in Pittsburgh. So I'm getting insider information from not only Mr. Russo, but Russ "They're Coming to Get You, Barbara" Striner and the Pittsburgh film office. The class is pretty sweet.

Y'know, either my memory's faulty or something, 'cause I could swear that Romero's involved somehow....

BTW: If you don't believe me, I've got photo evidence. And pics of Mr. Russo, Russ Striner, and Tom Savini. And I've met Kevin McCarthy from "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and "Twilight Zone: the Movie."

EDIT:
Also, I wouldn't reccommend "Children of the Living Dead," either. That's just a crapfest.
