i'm looking forward to weird al's new album but my favorite of his is UHF. the movie and the music. Raul's Wild Kingdom is hilarious!

I was a big fan of Weird Al a couple of years ago ... but now, I just think he's okay. I'd include more people, but frankly, I haven't listened to a lot of stuff by other bands.
EDIT: My brother has a band called "Seventh Grade Underdog" (or, more simply, 7GU). Not that big a fan of their stuff, but hey, he's my brother, ain't he?
EDIT #2: Come to think of it, I listen to Mest a lot, too ... so add them to the list.
