why do some people hate GB2?

Great movie IMHO....I don't know who hates it or why....but I guess it's just not their cup of tea. I love it.

GBII was good, but not as good as GBI. GBII is better than some other franchises' sequals, but then again, there are other franchises that had better sequals as well.

I love both GB1& 2!!!  I can't see why people would hate GB2 if they liked the first one.  That's my opinion!

I loved the first movie. Maybe they dont like giant jello molds? but of course there is always room for jello!

I think GB2 was a good movie,but it is not as good as GB1. I think it could have been just as good if it had been more mature in tone like the first film. However,GB2 is one of the best sequels ever made

I absolutely LOATHE ghostbusters II. I hate it because it is completely unnecessary. There was no story to be told after the first; the only reason a sequel was made is for more money.
I hate the fact that there are plot holes left and right. How is it that at the end of the first film, they're heroes, but at the begining of the second, no one likes them? And to top it all off, no one believes in ghosts! Did everyone forget that 100 marshmallow man that stormed through Manhattan?
I hate how Dana didn't get with Peter. That seemed like such a cop-out.
I hate how the movie rips off the first left and right. Every thing from the plot to the structure of the film is taken directly from the first.
I hate how crappy the score is.
I hate Vigo.
I hate the stupid ending.
I hate how unfunny it was in comparison to the original.
I hate how not scary or exiting it was compared to the original.
I hate Ghostbusters II.
Incidentaly, I'm one of the few people on this message board that doesn't want a GB III to be made.
