Why the heck did Winston leave the court room scene when the Scoleri brothers appeared???

Its been said but Winston was always left out because he just worked for them,
After all he didn't do alot in the 1st one and since they went bust after that he still wasnt able to do much, But as things went on he did get more invoved.
How many of u get invoved with your bosses at work? i sure keep the hell away from mine as much as i can, and as time went on (during gb2) u can see he becomes a good friend towards the other members.

and why would winston take dana anywhere? thats like asking your pest exterminator for a ride!

If Winston were to take Dana anywhere, I think it would be understandable. But again, nothing can really verify that she did.
The Ghostbusters and Dana knew each other for five years, and if Dana and Peter had dated for a while after the Gozer incident, I'm sure she probably ran into the other guys at times, either at the firehouse or on the street. Who really knows how long Peter and Dana dated, and how much or how often she kept in contact with the other guys. I could see a friendly acquaintence role. There seemed to be a fondness on her part when she saw the others in GB2.
To the best of my knowledge, it was never said that the city's ghost infestation immediately dried up after the end of the first movie. They could have easily had a few days/weeks/months of ghost cleanup. She was probably friends with these guys. Perhaps not close friends, but good enough.

client employee relationship. the only one who really payed any real attnetion outside the professional level was venkman. winston is just an employee not a doctor or friend.
anyway if you saw some ghost pop out of a jar of slime for the first time in five years, wouldn't you run?

I think it was to further the plot 
But seriously, he left for 3 very good reasons:
1. The "Do...Re..Egon!" joke wouldn't work
2. The recinding order hadn't yet been, well, ordered, and he couldn't legally touch the packs, so he was, like everyone else, defenseless.
3. The token black guy is always the first to be killed. He was smart to leave.

I always thought he got stuck outside from the crowd. The Scoleris sealed the door with energy after everyone left to keep the judge for themselves. It woulda been nice had they showed him getting stuck outside.

That is most likely what happened also I have always thought he was at the court to testify as a witness since he was not present with the guys when they got arrested. Remember he had a suit on and everything.
