While I can't help but think that somewhere a juggling-skydiver is gnashing his teeth over an "extreme" Ghostbusters cartoon, who cares? We get a new show and he can go jump...well, jump from a plane.

Egon returns, as does Slimer and Janine. Joining them are some new faces. Eduardo, Kylie, Garrett, and Roland are students enrolled in Dr. Egon Spengler's Paranormal class, and when trouble brews up out of the New York underground, who ya gonna call? Considering that the Ghostbusters are no more, that's a good question. So Egon trains his four pupils to pick up the torch...or proton pack. Whichever.

For anyone wondering whatever became of the other three original Ghostbusters, they're alive and well and teamed up with the Extreme Ghostbusters at the end of EGBs first season in the episode "Back in the Saddle".
