February 24th, 2020

Six years ago the world lost a kind, talented and generous soul. Today we celebrate the life of Harold Ramis and humbly ask you to participate in a video collaboration project to honor his memory.

Harold Ramis made a positive impact on this world through his work including films such as Stripes, Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, Back to School, Ghostbusters II, Year One, Bedazzled and many more. His life was lovingly chronicled by Violet Ramis Stiel, author of the must read Ghostbuster's Daughter: Life with My Dad, Harold Ramis.

There have been many heartwarming tributes to Mr. Ramis since his passing, including the initial #EgonButNotForgotten memorial that started six years ago today. This year we would like to invite fans, colleagues and loved ones to share thoughts on Harold's impact on the world and their lives by recording a brief video tribute honoring his memory.

Whether you were moved by something you read from Ghostbuster's Daughter: Life with My Dad, Harold Ramis, had an interaction with Mr. Ramis himself or would like to express what his work meant to you as a fan, we would love to see your video message!

Make your video tribute memorable. If you are a Ghostbusters fan, by all means grab your flight suit and the rest of your gear and make it a part of your message! If you would like to read from Ghostbuster's Daughter and share your favorite passage, by all means please do! If you had the pleasure of working with or knowing Mr. Ramis, we would love to hear an anecdote!

When you are ready, please upload your video below to the Dropbox. We will assemble a montage and post it on our YouTube channel in loving memory of Harold Ramis. Finally, don't forget to share your video with the world directly on social media with the hashtag #RememberingHaroldRamis.

There is no planned deadline for this project in the interest of allowing people to mindfully craft their message, surface good memories and share them with the world in a positive manner. We will begin assembling a rough cut of the video for YouTube in a month or so. A last call for contributions will be posted on social media as a heads up to those who may still be working on their contribution sometime after.

Thanks in advance for your contribution! We look forward to viewing and sharing your #RememberingHaroldRamis video memorials on social media leading up to the publication of the communal YouTube montage.
