Logan Kim Turns 13 and Ghostbusters co-star McKenna Grace Shares Sweet Serenade on Instagram

What did Logan Kim get for his birthday? The tradition of Ghostbusters birthday celebrations continues.

March 8th, 2020

McKenna Grace and Logan Kim, co-stars of Jason Reitman's highly anticipated Ghostbusters film out this summer, updated their respective Instagrams today. In celebration of Logan's 13th birthday, Captain Marvel and Ghostbuster actress McKenna Grace wishes him well and shared a video shot during the 7th day of filming the new Ghostbusters film.

Much of the film was shot in Canada. The town of Fort Macleod played a large role with many of its landmarks appearing in the most recent trailer, available to view at the bottom of the article. A premiere in Fort Macleod may happen and would take place at the Empress movie theatre featured in the film during a newly minted and iconic ghost chase featured in Jason Reitman's latest trailer. In the scene the character of Trevor, portrayed by Finn Wolfhard, drives the Ecto-1 down the streets while sister Phoebe, portrayed by McKenna Grace, cleans up the town.

Details about the making of the film alongside exclusive behind the scenes photos from the set are documented in the Hanging With Bill Murray article from Vanity Fair. This includes the mobile neutronization of nasty neighborhood spirits featured in the trailer below.

A big thank you to GB Max from Ghostbusters Mania for posting this lovely birthday fan art for Logan Kim. After noticing the update from Ghostbusters Mania, which included the birthday present Logan Kim shared on his Instagram (below), I was reminded of the Ghostbusters: Answer the Call Blu-ray which includes several behind the scenes celebrations including Bill Murray's birthday celebration (above) with Ghostbusters: Answer the Call writer and director Paul Feig, as well as Executive Producer Ivan Reitman and crew.

Let us not forget the first documented Ghostbusters birthday scene included Ghostbusters: Afterlife director Jason Reitman himself as the kid interacting with Dr. Ray Stantz, portrayed by Ghostbusters co-creator Dan Aykroyd. Mr. Reitman's Instagram has been a good source of exclusive progress. He knows who you will be calling this Summer. It won't be He-Man.
