Im building my first pack and im having alot of trouble building the “cyclotron band or the ”pack bumper". any ideas on how to construct it or were i could buy one would be very helpful.

Its, not an exact copy of the band;
but i used this technique for my first try at the proton pack.
Go to any home depot and look at the sliding door section. The aluminum door tracks are pretty close. They come in about a yard lenght. They are easily bent into right angles by putting it against a hard straight edged corner. The sharper the corner, the easier to bend. I used a hack saw to cut off the extra once it is bent properly. It looks pretty darn close. Tracks cost about 7 dollars. It has been a few years though.
