The makers of the upcoming fan film “Detroit Ghostbusters” are in need of proton pack and ghost trap props. Here's the chance to get your hard work in a movie! You'll alsoe receive an on screen credit for providing the props.

I'm starting to wonder if the community as a whole should adopt a new approach when it comes to Fanfilms… that if you're making your own fanfilm, you should then make your own props, and not rely on the rest of the community to plug the gaps, as it were.

This isn't specifically directed at you and your team, Simon… there've been a few dodgy setups people have tried to pull off involving props being lent for films that had no guarantee of ever appearing, and these few have soured me to the whole idea of props being lent out to fanfilm productions.

Beyond that, it also feels a bit impractical to lend them in, factoring in cost of shipping, potential damage and all that…

Should have been more specific in the initale posting. But the filmmakers are more interested in Michigan based fans to act as Prop master on set. They'll be supervising the use of thier props and bring ing them to and from shooting. (*peter)
