Why is it that there is a fanfic on here that has absolutely NOTHING to do with Ghostbusters?

There are some people here (like myself) that have had some of their fanfics irrevocably lost, or even unapproved, and there is someone who can write some cheesy “teen-movie” script, and it gets on the fanfic board?

Now here's what takes the taco…
some of the people who rate these completely irrelivant fanfics have about 2 or 3 posts…just enough to give this guy tens. This ticks me off…some of us FIGHT for the approval of all the ghostheads on the board, and these people join the board ONLY to rate the guy's fanfics! It's sickening! I'm wondering what everyone else thinks…

…should there be a rule AGAINST fanfics that have nothing to do with GB or the PARANORMAL?

I know some parts of stories must build to where the GB and paranormal material is contained, but come on….2 PARTS of a fanfic longer than most people's FULL fanfics, and neither one make a mention of the material above!

What's the verdict?

This site is for ghostbusters media, which is what people come here for.

non-GB stuff doesn't make sense here, and non-gb fanfics can be publicated through fanfic.net or something like that.

What story is this? Regardless, I'm with you guys.

Yeah, I found it. I didn't like it. Even if it doesn't have to do with GB, I don't think it's too funny.

As long as I'm here, try my new fanfic, “New Ghostbusters: Dover's Demon.” Nothing wrong with a little self-promotion.

More importantly, however, is that I couldn't agree with you more, Vincent. I haven't actually read Brendan's story, but there is no way there should be fanfic on here not related to GB. It doesn't make sense. That's like submitting a lightsaber for your prop. …sheesh…

Yeah, I'm definately with you on this one Vince. Those fanfics are just as bad as post in the wrong section.

Tell me about it…I hate it when a bunch of people flood on as new members JUST to rate their friend's fanfic. Doing that doesn't make it any better amongst the ghostheads…it just makes it look more pathetic that it had to be padded.

The only person who had 3 posts would be Ben White. Everyone else isn't a friend. LOL. Check out theri posts. Some of the people who gave me good rating and have more than 3 posts. What about Gabriel Martin? He seems to be giving you a lot of 10's?

And second, if you have a problem with my fan fic being approved don't take it to the fourms, take it to Chad, the man he aproves them.

But int eh End, I do agree with you guys, yeah my story shouldn't be up there…but it is.

Mr. Brendan, I gave your fan fiction a 10 because I give everyone else a ten just to be nice towards you and everyone else. But I have 2 fan fictions that are posted but I know that their not going to get good ratings but I dont want to be banned aswell for giving others bad ratings so that's all why I give people good ratings except for that person who made a fan fiction that was actully an EGB episode, The Crawler.
