Well, ok, how long does it take to find a publisher? how big of a delay are we talking about, weeks? i can handle weeks no problem. A month, yea, ok it happens, but i get time is needed to print up new posters with the new publishers logo on it, but multiple months, half a year, for some coporate bullshit? give me a break man.

Im not too sure how long it takes to get a new publisher. i mean, common, its friggen ghostbusters, im sure there are buyers out there! but, i as a fan, as someone with some knolwledge into how movies and games are made, let alone a major video game based off a movie, i would like it if i, the fan wasnt viewed as a moron, and was told what exactley what was going on, because, at the end of the day, its US, the fans, the gamers, who are going to suffer!

I dont imagine it will take too long, considering activision is helping out finding a new publisher, or hell maybe they give up and just decide to publish it, but yeah oddly enough these things can take a bit of time I am not saying it would take 4 or 5 months, maybe at most….2 months, but who knows, sooner or later, time will tell, but there are cases where its been years before a dev found a publisher but those are rare occasions, but yeah as you said it is friggen ghostbusters! so someone will pick up, thats not the problem, I am just saying to expect a delay, and thats all my friend =p

for those that care, Brutal Legend is not cancelled either, the developers of that game called “Doublefine” announced that they are in good hands.

Not likely but you never know. It was my over all understanding that ZootFly was more intrested in developing a Ghostbusters game…

To be honest, I didnt like the zootfly GB game at all, even the teaser art had stolen art in it, you know the ghost floating over the empire state building? a locust from Gears of war, and the guys themselves looked like starship trooper rejects, and dont get me started on the game itself.

I think Terminal Reality ( or TRI as we would call it in the community for another game they developed called bloodrayne that I used to be a part of) has done a far superior game then what zootfly could have ever done, offically sanctioned or not, I still believe it was done to attract attention to their game Time-O.

well, i agree, the whole zootfly was just that, high grade fan art, and terminal relaity has done a much better job, its just, i dont see why activision, who has published every single ghostbusters game since the first movie, would want to sudddleny jump ship now? the game is getting great press, the fans arent bitching about it, infact we're supporting it, from what im told the tech is working without any problems what so ever (you dont put out tech demos if your softwere dont work) So, whats the problem? thats whats pissing me off!?

Everything as far as i know, and ive been following the development of this game since day 1, has been smooth sailing, and for no apparent reason what so ever, they want to pull this bullshit! WHY?

Hell for all i know this could all be a big publicity stunt for all i care, to see if there really is a demand for this game!

Hi guys, I'm from Germany… I just wanted to say that there were plans to release the animated series “RGB” and “EGB” over here, but they dissapeared from our Amazon pages. I know, this doen't belong directly to the video game, but it seems what's going on is serious.

the thing thats bothering me, honestly, s us as fans, have compromised so much for our beloved franchise, delt with scraps and left overs for years, and we are, prehapse the most shitted on group of fans ever.

Think about it, the trekkies, the star wars buffs, the lord of the rings buffs, etc, get everything they want. honestly, how many star wars, lord of the rings, star trek crap is out there. I promess you, if you bought just one of everything made for those franchises alone, youd need a god dam warehouse to store it.

here we are, 19 years after the last movie, all we got in that time span was a decent, yet in my view lacking cartoon seires with a few good episodes, years worth of false rumors and false hopes up, one set of figures of SOME of the ghosts in the movie, and a few model kits. Hell, we had to build all our own props, costumes, etc. Yet, god forbid we sell anything of ours we made ourselves, we get sued to shit for it.

Now, ok, after table scraps for 19 years, we're finally about to get some good stuff, a new game acting as a 3th movie (which lets face facts, is a god dam compromise, but at this point beggers cant be choosers) and all is going well, we're on the crest of this ghostbusters return wave, and this shit happens.

What the hell man. Honestly! Star wars fans get everything, 3 god dam prequels, which they bitch and moan about, but dont stop buying all the toys and shit that has the star wars logo on it, lord of the rings fan get everything, trekkeies, my god man, you never here the end of trek, and we get shit, all because 19 years ago, sony was stupid enough to launch ghostbusters 2 in the summer were itwent agenst indana jones, batman, etc and should have launched it around christmas, when it would have stood a better chance, but no, they dident think that way, and who suffered, us fans, because 19 years ago ghostbusters 2 dident make as much cash as sony wanted, due to there own bad timing.

Now, we get a game, everyones on board (well almost everyone, which is good enough for us) everythings going fine, its all set, and now, blam, again, coporate assholes in suits deside to pull this shit, cancling or delaying it, and not even giving us a streight awnser, and then wonder why we're pissed?

We shut up when the comic con presentation dident go off, we shut up when no major anouncement was promessed, we took this, we dident get new figures, master replica props, etc, and we dident say a word. We figured, it will all come to those who wait

BUT GUYS, WE AS FANS HAVE BEEN WATING 19 YEARS now! im getting sick and tired of wating. How messed up is it, that we have to make most of our own stuff? then, when we get a new video game, they gota say, well, opps, sry bout it, but it was all a giant cock tease


i cant take this stuff no more. honestly, i just want my games, movies, and cartoon series, it wouldent kill ya for more then just a few comics, a new action figure like would be nice, some collectables, but apparently thats asking to much!

Yeah, first its not cancelled and that comes from both suits at activision and sierra and even TRI who i frankly trust more, but its still a shitty situation.
