dunno how many of you are familiar with the band “Alien Ant Farm” (new punk-sounding band that re-did that Michael Jackson song) but I just saw their latest music video for their song entitled “Movies” late last night on mtv while flipping through channels fighting a bout with insomnia… as the name implies, the video has references to different movies… at one point when the band is dressed as oompa loompas from the willy wonka movie… also the lead singer appears as the main character in karate kid, and the real old sensei guy (dunno his name) makes a cameo in the video as well… there could be other parts I missed concerning other movies, because I think I landed on it as it was 1/2 over… but the BEST part of the video, is when the band is dressed as Ghostbusters !!! – I'd have to see the video again, but I think they use their proton blasters too… not sure if they show the packs though… anyway, I just thought it might be of interest to the board to mention this…

Rehashing old topics is okay. It just means that new members are getting excited about Ghostbusters stuff again. and That's whats important! smile

There is an article on this site about that video. Check the news section.
Last time I checked the link, I got to MTV.com but it said that the connection was failed, or something to that effect. Basically, I think they pulled it from their site, since it's been awhile since that video was out.

Now their latest video is for “Attitude,” and it's really good. No funny stuff here though. Much more serious.

I thought “Movies,” was not only a good video but a really good song. Anyone else agree with me on that?
