I'm probably not the only one, but as a kid, I did the exact same thing. I couldn't stand the fact that their proton packs were ‘on’ the entire time

As for the game, I don't think it was ever released in Belgium… If it was, I'm sure I'd have bought it immediately.
Just never saw it in the stores.
I wonder if there are any Belgian or Dutch ghostheads who can confirm that the game was sold out here…

The nes version of the game is the worst version by far (as you can see) I remember enjoying the c64 version alot though.

Again, why was the Atari 2600 version forgotten? That was the worse. I had a 2600 and not a NES (I think it was just soon after my parents got me a NES). Like the site in the Websites forum about all the Ghostbusters merchandise that was every out, NO Atari 2600 version.

Yea, im a AVGN fan by far. This wasn't his best review, but it was decent. His best reviews we're of Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elmstreet so check those out too. Screwattack has a couple of good shows besides the nerd. Like Captain S, and Awesome Video Games, so check those out too.

I wish I knew how to make animated avatars. I want one of AVGN with his proton pack on.

Just to give you all a heads up, the next two AVGN videos are going to be Ghostbusters related. What I originally had in mind, was to review Ghostbusters II in the same review, like what I did with Back to the Future and Top Gun, but I also wanted to review the Atari 2600, Sega Master System, and Sega Genesis versions of Ghostbusters as well. Pile that all on top and what do you get? … An friggin' long long review.

So I decided to break it into three parts.

Part 2 will finish up what I have to say about Ghostbusters on NES as well as the Atari and Sega Master System version.

part 3 will be ghostbusters II on NES and Ghostbusters on Sega Genesis.

I'm not sure what to call the second part. As of now, most people don't know that there's a second part of the review coming and if I call it “Ghostbusters - Part 2”, most people will think It's a review of Ghostbusters 2. But Ghostbusters 2 will be in part 3? Are you confused? I hope not.

Im glad GB is getting alot of independent love. When My Way Entertainment did their re-dub of The Real Ghostbusters, it became one of their most popular parodies, and now the Nerd is on the band-wagon. If anything this shows that the world is ready for another Ghostbusters movie.

Oh yea. I've been a Nerd fan since the beginning, but his die-hard fans are consisted of 14 year old wise asses who completely worship the guy. Not only that, but they knock EVERYTHING. Everyone who does a video game review is copying, and “n33dz t00 di3 n00b!11!”. I'd end up in constant flame-wars if I joined that diarreah mess of a message board.
