What are you talking about not advanced yet!

I take it you have not watched Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children, those effects were amazing.

still not up to scratch to convey actual real world actors in a convincing light.

I don't know, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within did a damn good job… and they weren't going for total realism. I think CGI shouldn't try to be as realistic as life as that's setting the bar too high. It shouldn't be a replacement for real life… or an excuse for actors to dump all their live action work for roles that are only voice overs.

I was bored:

I need to go back and darken the boys in…multi colored uniforms… in the second poster, but I'm a little lazy…lol. Plus, I just did it because I was bored. I want to do one for GB3, but can't find descent enough images. I was thinking some shots from Back in the Saddle would work…but I cant find hi-res ones…so whatever.

I suppose I should make myself clear on one thing.

I have nothing against a cartoon animated Ghostbusters movie.

An animated Ghostbusters THREE, would make me want to die.

Oh yeah…if they had just gone ahead and done an animated GB3, I would be extremley displeased. However, if they were to animiate the first and second film and then proceed the two with a third animated film, it would be pretty bad ass.

Even then, I don't need GB1 or 2 animated…

I'm talking about feature length RGB or something just with same colour uniforms, ie tan, AS long as they avoid calling it GB3, I'd be happy.

It'd definantly rock hard. It would have to be direct to DVD though. They would'nt market it to theatres…but man that would rock hard… :-)

I think there would be a market in cinemas. I really do. It depends how it was marketed. RGB is passed the point of making a come back. But a new Ghostbusters cartoon, brand new. Maybe using 88mph animation *cough* with the RGB voice actors… could do quite well… and then a GB movie could be released.

It would have to be a newer animation as the 80's western style anime is'nt guite clean enough anymore, but think about it, when is the last time you saw an animated movie IN THEATRES that was'nt 3D…frankly, I'm sick of it. We need people to get off their asses and draw again…and they can start with a GB toon.
