Hey guys. Does anybody have any tips on ether the Mother Boad or the Synchronus Generator? I mean, things like proper dementions, good materials, cutting techniques, melting the styrene into shape, and drawing techniques for the generator. Feel free not to just talk about the abouve ideas, tell me anything that could be helpful to building experience. Thanks

Wait until you've made all your pack parts before you cut your motherboard. The reason for this is that your dimensions could change due to miscalculation and you would have to cut another. Plywood is an excellent material to use, its less grainy and is an overall strong board. Use low heat to bend the plastic, like norm said just use a candle. Really reinforce that spacer when you build it depending on how much weight you plan on putting on it.

for my synchronous generator i got the pink insulation from Home Depot its about 15 bucks for a huge sheet of it

I drew out the shape and cut out several of them, glued them all together, then took wood putty and started covering it, I prefer wood putty over bondo drys quicker, easier to sand. I put a lot of coats of wood putty, then to finish it off I used dry wall finsihing compound, to give it a nice finish, its easy to apply and drys really fast, and will give it a nice smooth finish.

Motherboard I cut mine with a jig saw, drew it out and then cut along the lines…
