I too am interested, so why don't you split the toys 3 ways, Osborn and Voice and myself could figure out what we'd want and maybe split it 3 ways. I know I would like only a couple of those items for my collection of Real Ghostbusters that really hasn't been going anywhere for the past four months. I know this would help me greatly. of course, i was the first to reply. like voice of reason, i'm a huge GHOSTBUSTERS fan and collector, but mostly collect production materials from both films. i can guarantee that the items would go to a good home. the items would be displayed proudly in glass cases next to original scripts, production art, and props from the films. i NEVER part with any peice from my collection, so i can guarantee that the items would be there to stay and would NOT be sold on ebay.

another way, besides first come, would be to go down the list of who replied first, and let each persom that posted pick what he/she wants to buy. that might be the most fair, possibly having a limit of what each person can get, so the others would have a chance to buy something. there were 5 people that replied, so maybe everyone could get a shot at two items, and we could guess numbers on who would get the extra item. the only downfall would be the extra time you would spend packing the seperate items to go to different people.

Voice of reason, i dont think thats the best way to do this for one reason….some of the people are older and have had more schooling,and just because your a better writer doesnt mean they should have a better chance to get the gb toys.

I think its pretty clear that all 5 us REALLy want these toys and i dont think you can judge because weve all made it clear how much we want them.

i think the plan osborn came up with is fair. :0

i agree with you that it would be very hard to ship 5 ways……i guess well just have to wait and see.

she seems more interested in doing it fairly. i feel that dividing up the lot would be more fair, plus she would probably make more money on the lot. i feel the essay writing is a bad idea, and would take just as much time on her part by having to read, consider, and think of her decision. i know my essay would be LONG and involved. dividing the lot five ways wouldn't take that much longer in the shipping process, not nearly as long as reading essays. plus, everyone would get at least part of the lot if it were to be divided. myself, i would rather all of us get part of the collection. it would almost seem selfish that one person would take the whole lot. if she does decide to go the essay route, i've won several essay contests in high school and college, not to mention i've been published in several magazines.

i feel the same that she should take the quickest and the fairest route. what better way would it be than to have her nephew's collections spread throughout the country to adoring fans.
