A while back there was a article in protoncharging about Aykroyds decision to retire. Is he still considering retiring or has he descided to stay in acting?

I think a lot of actors/actresses/musicians/etc. go through this stage. Another fave actor of mine is Anthony Hopkins and he's stated that he was quitting acting as well, but a couple years later, he was back and look at all the stuff he's done lately. He also said he'd never go back to doing theatre but he did that too and then said never again….again. People probably just go through phases where they think they've done enough and they don't have to put up with the hassles of certain things, but then something good comes a long and they can't say no.

I don't think Dan has done much in terms of leading characters lately, but it's nice that he still does little roles. Brightens up the movies a bit. I'm sure he's got a LOT of friends and he does a lot of them favours by having even the smallest part in a movie.

Aside from him being in Crossroads, I know of one other movie he will be in, and I hope (and am pretty sure) that there are more to come.
I'm in a play right now and the director was an extra in this upcoming Dan Aykroyd move, called “Unconditional Love,” I think, and it could be coming out this August.
This is all I have heard.
