AZ Ghostbusters @ Bookmans Diabetes Walk Fundraiser *Pics 8/7/10

On Saturday, August 7th, 2010, the Arizona Ghostbusters made their 2nd annual in-store appearance at the local Bookmans used book store for their Movie Madness Month of events. The event was to promote and raise funds for the upcoming Step Out To Fight Diabetes Walk we'll be participating in. In the store we set up a table to hand out Ghost candy, AZGB posters, and coloring sheets. We also held symmetrical book stacking contests and a slime scavenger hunt for kids to win prizes. It was an awesome and fun event and we met alot of great fans. We'll be appearing at another Bookmans location later in the month for a similiar event.

looks pretty awsum …..fair play…wish we had things like that in ireland to help fundraisers….really love the no ghost arm patchs

Thanks. Get a team going Zeddmore. It's alot of work but it always pays off, expecially when you meet the young fans. Definite proof Ghostbusters will be around for many years to come.

You'd be surprised. Half our team are people we met locally at events, the other half we met online that lived on the outskirts of town that hadn't seen us in person yet.

Here's pics from our Tucson team's first event at the Bookmans location there. It was their first event with none of the veteran Phoenix members in attendance and they made us proud. They had a blast with the fans that showed up. The team brought their own Ecto truck to the store as well. A American Diabetes Association representative stopped by and recieved the donation from the store directly. We'll be seeing alot more from our Tucson team soon.
