What type of boots were used in the movies. I'm not sure but I think they were a paratrooper or combat boot.

Combat boots, my man, all the way. But, I have to recommend paratrooper boots for the active Ghostbuster. They have a zipper and snap and are a lot faster and easier to get in and out of.

No, um, actually they are just easy access combat boots. They were invented in Vietnam probably by some local with a good idea. They just took a regular combat boot and slapped a zipper on the inside part of the boot. So now all you have to do is tie your laces once and just use the zipper for the rest of forever. The only problem with that is that it offers poor support. Also, if you walk through fire or a grenade goes off close to you, you have the zipper marks up the side of your leg. but to answer your question, they're just a different version of the standard issue combat boot.

The boots were Paratrooper combat boots with zippers on the side, thats exactly what they used. No mistaking it wink
