Hi, My name is Justin and I'm new to this site. I have been a fan of Ghostbusters for a long time (since the first movie) Well, I have always been facinated by the Proton Pack nd I recently stummbled upon this site and found the plans to make one. I like Paranorman's plans. I just had a couple of Questions. Is it hard and time consuming to make one? How close is it to the original prop? Is there better plans out there than Paranormans? I would appriciate some input from you guys.

Your fellow Ghostbuster Fan, Justin

Hey man! Welcome to the world of prop building! No, it's not an easy job building a proton pack, and yes it is EXTREMELY time comsuming! Be prepared to spend litterally months on your pack, maybe even years. Norm's plans give you a good visual idea of what you are doing, but for deminsions I would reccomend Stephan's plans. You can find the most information about proton packs from gbprops.com It will tell you where you can buy different parts and they have a lot of good reference pictures. They also have a lot of good plans on there too. While you are there find the message board called ASAP(A Site About Props). There you can find some of the most knowledgabe people who've made replica packs. I hope this all helps you! Good luck! Stick with it, it's worth it!

Well, good luck! (you'll need a lot of wood, scrap metal, styrene plastic, and you'll probably become best friends with spray paint. All ghostheads are friends with spray paint and glue)
