To make the lights work as they did in the movie you will have to make them yourself. Just visit this page for a supplies list and blueprints on how to construct the boards. Be warned, some supplies can cost you up to $68 alone.

From what I've seen the best place is just to mount the battery on the back of the Motherboard right above the ALICE frame. This method was the same used in the movie. I've seen other people actually cut a hole through the MB and the EDA box to put the battery in there. You should take a look at this thread for more, detailed information.

You can buy 3/4" vinyl tubing or something a little smaller to feed through the wire loom. You can then feed the wires from the pack to the gun this way; Or tape up the wires and feed them through the wire loom alone. Personal preferance.

There have been several different methods used to mount the ALICE Frame to the motherboard. You should take a look at this thread for more information as well.
