ECTO-135 is spread over about 10 tripod accounts because of its size. RealVideo cannot play on tripod, or any other free server either. all the same goes for the ectoplasmic archive. so can anyone recommend a domain name server that supports streaming real player and can hold about 300mb? if so whats the price? who do i contact? does it supply a html editor? you know the drill i suppose. thanks guys.

your talking about two different things, a domain name is www.ecto135.com and the server is where your space is actually stored, the two do not come together, (for the most part) some companys offer both at a packaged rate…
But usually you can get the best deal by purchasing the domain name from one company and the webspace from another…

I recommend Tera-Byte for a registar.. you may also want to look to them for hosting. My web host is currently Always Webhosting.. and they are great!
A site I frequent and highly recommend is Webhosting Talk Forums. They will help you find a web host.
Unfortuantly, I am almost certain.. that very few hosts are going to give you an HTML editor.. I suggest you just going and buying/downloading a free or paid HTML editor. When you get a pay webhost, you move into a different world.. it isn't all easy like Geocities, or Tripod. For price, do not expect to pay any thing less than $10 dollars US, you will find things for less.. but they can end up being worse than Tripod currently is for you.
For a list of hosts to avoid go here. These are free unlimited space hosts, and some can be proven to be bad. (ie take your money, cancel your account).

Hostway (http://www.hostway.net/) is an excellent server. While it may not be the cheapest available, they have good service and are extremely reliable. The hosting plan comes with many other good features such as CGI scripts.
