it isn't hard to get to superman…he's one of the biggest dumb@$$'s in DCU. He is so self righteous and he's never had any real hardship…Even alfred neuman could kick his @$$

I've had this argument recently about Superman beating Spider-Man (which I still say can't happen) but I agree that it would be a toss up in the end. My theory is, if someone is smart enough to add kryptonite to whatever they use (i.e. webbing, proton beams) Then it could be done.

It's very interesting that this was brought up. In “Making Ghostbusters” it shows in an earlier draft after the guys bust Slimer while they talk with reporters, a street pnuk approaches Egon in which the dialogue is as follows…

STREET PUNK:Mister! Hey Mister! Come here! Mister.

He finally gets Spengler's attention and waves him over.

STREET PUNK(CONT'D):Hey Mister! Can I see those guns?

SPENGLER:They're not guns. They're particule throwers.

STREET PUNK:Yeah, yeah. I just want to see ‘em.

SPENGLER:I couldn’t do that. You might hurt someone.

He turns away.

STREET PUNK:Wait! Wait! Let me ask you something. If you like shot Superman with those guns, would he feel it or what?

SPENGLER(with authority)n Earth-no. But on Krypton we could slice him up like Oscar Mayer Balogna.

STREET PUNK:Wow!

I would like to see the movie the way it was originally pictured by Dan Aykroyd. That would be pretty weird. Belushi and Aykroyd in outer space with a dematerializing car etc…lol

ok the gb's could have egon hook up the packs with kryptonite. shooting him anywhere near where he is would weaken him and they could hold him in their prison bar cells like they did in ghostbusted. the bars would be made out of kryptonite so he cannot go anywhere.
in the end the gb's would win with a flawless victory.
