you can get lots of glue and glue a big and long peice of hot glue wait when it is dry cut it out

I'm using stefans plans to build my shockmount out of wood, and if I have to, matboard.

i found some plastic trim, I put some heat on it and then bent it, it worked really well…

thanks for all the suggestions though..

i used matchbox race track extension pieces. spray painted them black, added a piece of wood to the center and then the knob. you can get a box at walmart for about 4.50
