Anyone catch that this morning? He was on there talking about that new movie with Ms. Spears and some other things. About the ring they found in the WTC rubble that belonged to his wife and how him and her got married on a roof at Martha's Vineyard while on a motorcycle (gotta give him credit for being a motorhead) and he did a tiny song as a joke when he came out.

What else did he say?
Did anyone happen to tape it?

I taped it to make photos from. But I learned a long time ago it's not worth sending out copies cos I always get screwed.

He only had about 7 minutes. They showed a clip of the movie and he said he was a navy or marine guy in it, I guess prior to being a dad to Britany.

He said Donna had just had surgery on her arm and it was in a sling adn she didn't know if she could ride on the bike when they got married but she managed. They're supposed to have a formal dress remarriage with a bunch of friends as guests sometime in the future.

When he came out he sang some little song and said it was the other side (whatever) of a happy marriage. He pointed out a firefighter that was in the audience. There had been an auction and Woody Harelson paid something like 10 grand for this guy to be a Blues Brother for a day and him and Dan did a song that day.

Crossroads: Even more proof that Aykroyd's career has gone to shit.

He's done enough that he doesn't have to worry about doing major films anymore. I'd rather see an actor have a lot of little parts in all kinds of movies than starring roles once in a blue moon.

Even so, he can still be in movies with dignity.

Just kidding guys, I really think that Dan has had enough of the industry and that's why he's taking these small character actor roles. He's talked about retiring for good (here's hoping he doesn't). But if he does I'd like to see him go out on top as opposed to in a Britney Spears flick.

There was no Kathy Lee, there was Kelly whatever. But I think Regis is better on his own, lol.

I think Dan probably does little roles to be a good friend and help people out. I mean, think about it….how many of us would go see a Spears movie anyway? Not I. Jus the fact that Dan is in it, I'm gonna have to see it at some point. Probably as a rental. So he helped out a bit. I wish he'd do more bad guy roles though. And stop with the buzz cuts.
