Why should Murray be worried about his career? He's had one hell of a career. He's revolutionized himself over the years too and has had some good movies. I dont see how GB3 would hurt his career at this point in his career. He's in his 50's, face it. He aint got much left. If anything is gonna ruin his career, its gonna be that lame Garfield crap. Its way too late for a Garfield movie. The fanbase isnt as big as it used to be, and I dont even think the show comes on tv anymore. IMO, Garfield is gonna start the downfall of his career, and the only thing that will be able save him is GB3. The GB fanbase is still very large and in demand, while Garfield….is not. Kinda makes no sense that he would make Garfield over GB3.

Well, he probably wants to expand on his career by acting in something new. He wants to play different roles, and not be recast in sequels. How many sequels has he been in? One, and it was GB II.
Although I do agree with you about GB's fanbase being bigger. :-)

Man face it, Ghostbusters doesn't exist. A year from now those kids won't even remember who we are.
In all seriousness though, I truly do believe in my heart that we will see a Ghostbusters 3. Wether that's a good thing or a bad thing, its a feeling I can't really explain.

Brian Doyle-Murray, Billy's older brother, who co-wrote Caddyshack, has begun co-writing the third installment. In an interview, Brian said Rodney Dangerfield and Chevy Chase will reprise their roles. And possibly a cameo by his brother, Mr. Bill Murray as Carl Spackler.

Oh ya dude the second one was SO bad!! Thank goodness I was working at the video store then so I could see it for free but it was just HORRIBLE!!! But who knows I mean golf is big again so it might take off!
