Ya may not realize this, Spengie old man, but you just did exactly what BiggSexi did by getting a little bit off the topic of hand, concerning Twister's post. Just a funny little observation thereof.

Oh, and as to how it would work with the GB's, Twister, mayhaps you could just leave with the one guy battling his inner demons that haunt him. Would make for one helluva short film/feature film.

I think you ought to go the other way and make it a mystery. Like inventing your own detective (i.e. Poirot or Monk) to uncover the problem. Maybe make the story that someone's trying to drive your protagonist out of his mind to gain something.
