What's the point, the Slime Blower only neutralizes ghosts, not to hold them.

well, ray always carried the trap, and he didnt fire when he was using it, so whats the problem of carrying a trap with the slimebower? its almost the same….

It was probably smart for Ray to have the trap so he could use it if the others were using their proton packs and could not get to their trap.

He was the trap carrier, and I believe I saw him wearing it. Probably just common for him to carry it.

The famous pic of the guys that was used as the pic on the movie shows the trap quite clearly on Ray's belt.

Sidenote: In case of emergency, like you run outta power, couldn't you just like, point the trap in the ghosts face and suck his ass in that way? It's not like it's manditory to hold it in a beam or cover it in slime……Although it is cool to do so.
