Ecto-1a Model - extremely detailed

For those of you who don't drop by PC on a regular basis, I recently posted an article on a model kit of the Ecto-1a bulit by a man named Jim Davis.

While many here have made the same kit, Jim's caught my eye because of the extra detail he put into it. I can't even list it all here.

castewar, yeah, me & him played email tag about that a while back, it was one of my months specials on ecto-135 a month or so ago. hes done a damn good job huh? i'd say that it'd go for $1000 US, or at least thats what i'd pay for it. lolsmile

It's a great model. I originally saw that on Back's site.. The detail is amazing.

Wow. Nice model. I can safely say that's never anything I could amount to…

Tried a Spiderman model a few months back. Wasn't quite what I expected – I tried to paint his pants blue, but for some reason, the looked purple. I guess models aren't up my alley.

Get it? Alley?? Ecto-1A??? Car???? Alley?????

OK, I'm done.
