First off I am a bad person.

I'm one of the mods on the GBI boards, and am active on GBFans and somewhat active on Proptopia, but SOMEHOW this board got lost in the shuffle, and for that I apologize!

Secondly, most have probably seen it but I'm working on a Magnum Ecto. Now I post this knowing full well it will not be everyone's cup of tea. Coming from a background of lowriders and hearses I HAD to put 22's on the mag, it just fits the wheel well SO much better! I also have a vertical door kit ordered (which usually I hate, but again I think they look good on the magnums) After that's done I'll continue on the roof, do the side stripe etc. The rest of the mod list so far is the lights, siren and logos. Chromed the door handles and side mirrors, and put in aftermarket Halo headlights.

Anyway for any that haven't seen it on one of the other boards here she is…

Here's a few ideas.

First, you might want to try putting a red pinstripe across the back of the car, near the fuel cap, so that you can get the idea of the red fins across without having to have actual fins on it.

Second, you could go for the Video Game's deco job (half ECTO-1, half ECTO-1A) and have the “warning tape” decals along the doors.

Third, I'd love to see what you've got designed for the roof rack.

I do plan on doing the red stripe, just havent gotten around to it yet. Some kids apparently tried to peel the logo off on the driver's side door. It's not noticable unless you're right up on it, but when I get it re-done I'll get the stripes at the same time.

I have always detested the hazard tape though, so that's a no-go.

The roof rack is complicated due to the slope of the roof, and the fact that the rear hatch extends so far into the roofline. I'm somewhat torn on it. I keep going back and forth from the idea of doing the rack, to negating the rack and having police style Ecto-1G lettering put on the roof. So basically I'm holding off on that decision until I'm done, or somewhat done, on the regular mods.
