Hello everyone.
My name is Paul and I am from Newcastle, United Kingdom.
I am looking to buy a 1959 Cadillac Ambulance to re-create ECTO1.
The only problem is that i haven't a clue where i will purchase one.
Can anyone give me direction to this matter?

Currently there isnt any for sale on the web :-(

Just to let you know I know a few things about these cars (yea right I know A LOT lol) These girls are rare and only a hand full are out there. If you find one in decent shape you'll be lucky, i mostly seen junkers go up for sale. If you find a junker I shaw warn you it will cost you more to restore it then turning it into an Ecto replica. To let you know Ecto-1 was a 1959 Cadillac Miller Meteor limo style combo. One last thing check out my site

So you have close to 2,000 to buy one thats needs to be restored. Then a other 50,000 to restore it, then a other couple grand to turn it into a Ecto.

To replace a front windsheild on these babies cost 2500 . I hope you have A LOT of money

I ain't particulary fond of believing everything I read on a forum, plus I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for photos of his restoration process.

i have money and i have the time. obviousely it aint gonna happen overnight. it will take a while but it'll be well worth it!

I didn't mean to sound overly negative, but it's no point believing everything you read.

Please prove me wrong, I would love to see another Ecto project come into view!
