Can someone please tell me what kind of siren the Ectomobile has? Is (or was) it a real siren from some sort of ambulance? Or, was it made especially for the movie?

unfortuneately it was a post production sound bite, the siren was not real. the growler siren mounted on the ECTO-1 was a 73 fed. model (im not quite all here today, correct me if im mistaken).
im gone.
