The guy who brought you “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz” should definitely be the perfect director for this project.

Edgar Wright is an amazing director and would give GB3 a fresh feel without making it over the top and campy.

I also think having Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in the movie would be hilarious even though it's extremely far-fetched.

Well not a British franchise, but i think Wright should do an American movie and this could be it. It can be a USA/UK co-production, Simon Pegg would make a wonderful new member of the amazing team.

I was in the pub with Simon Pegg last night, TRUE FACT.

Anyway, I'd rather Edgar made Evil Dead 4 than Ghostbusters 3, just seems more the kind of vehicle his directing would be suited to.

I don't know. I would welcome it if it happened, but I don't know if it would really work too well. I would rather have Reitman or Ramis direct.

And how dare you mention Wright's two films but not Spaced??
