That might be a tad too like Cyborg from Teen Titans.

I did another sketch, leaving out all the cyborg stuff but with the gun on his arm… PussBucket is right, I don't want him to look too much like Cyborg. Plus I don't think the “Terminator” type stuff fits in with the Flip Side world. I did like the idea of Egon hacking his arm off and plugging a gun in, though.

Thoughts?

Rather than having it on his arm, just have it BE his arm. Like a small swivel arm that can move up down, etc. That would eliminate the cyborg look alike. If all else fails, just keep the frankenstien motif.

I like it, a great concept. It also works well as being an alternate of ‘our Winston’, a hulking, near-mindless creature as a counter to the Ghostbusters' intelligent strategist.

If you're worried about the Cyborg look, you could instead of having it look like it's been bolted on go for a more Videodrome-like thing and have it look like the gun has grown onto his arm. Look at this one if you're interested; http://www.cyberpunkreview.com/images/videodrome05.jpg

I do like your design a lot so far though. Kind of makes me think he had been in some freak accident and Egon tried to put him together as best as he could and replaced the body parts that were to damaged with gun parts.

I took your advice – and he ended up looking like Trap Jaw, from He-Man!

I think I'm just gonna eliminate the “gun arm” thing. I'm giving him different equipment, though. I'll try to finish him up this weekend and at least post the pencils…

I really like the idea and image of the Flipside Winston, but he kind of looks TOO normal / like the real Winston in comparison to the other 3 Flipsider Peoplebusters if you get what I mean. But I like the Idea and the sketches you've done thus far.
