The ‘false advertising’ comment was meant to be humorous, dont give me your ‘for the love of god’ mumbo jumbo. (*peter)

But case in point, if they did not have a publisher at that current moment, they should of not have stated an “October/Fall release” and just left it aptly as “Next Year” , but ofcourse getting angry at this will not make the game come out any sooner.

Im actually at a shortage of words, but all i can say, is that atleast we have other things to look forward to, and maybe we might see a Christmas/Winter release at the very least.

That's what you're not understanding. Sierra was going to publish this before the merger, then after the merger the plans were changed by Activision. Its not like if Sierra didn't merge with Activision that they wouldn't be publishing the game for the fall.

You know what makes me really sad? I was sooo excited for this game - I was a huge fan as a kid… and then I just… stopped, because there wasn't hardly anything new and of interest. I moved on to other things. And now Ghostbusters has caught my attention again - and I was so hyped - I should have expected that to get pulled out from underneath me. But I just realized how far I've let myself pass back into this franchise. I think the only way for me to get by is to forget about the game for a while - I need to move on to something else, like Heroes or something - to distract me until the game is almost out. Thinking about it every day and sitting at blogs like this eats up time I could be using for useful tasks and makes me sad. So here's to you guys - I'm going to try to pull myself away from Ghostbusters - as amazingly hard as that may be, until I hear something about a release date.

Lets hope for the best.

I can relate to that…I wish I could forget about it for now. It would be so nice to have memory of this game erased from my brain until it actually comes out, but I just can't help watching the demos and videos over and over to get my ‘fix’! I want to play this game in the worst way.

thats why I stay away from stuff, till its released.

I don't even watch movie trailers for movies I know i'm going to see already…(Batman, etc)


Its best if everyone just puts their attention elsewhere for the time honestly. Go get psyched for something else.
