Rude and arrogant letters aren't going to get you guys anywhere.
You'll just come off as a bunch of pissed off immature fanboys.
If you write a thought out, respectful, letter that makes legitimate points that are supported with facts and strong, well represented opinions, you will have a lot more of an effect.
In either case, its doubtful you're going to change anything for this game. But if you want to make an impact on the way these guys make their decisions, you're better off with the 2nd option. If you write angry letters, they will most likely be ignored and responded to with a form letter simply thanking you for your letter.

Sad thing is though, yeah, either kinda letter you write is just going to get ignored.

the only thing that could work would be a boycott of the video game company until ghostbusters is release but we all know that we could never get enough people to support it.

Even with enough people that won't work. Activision has plenty of other titles they can make money off of, without needing Ghostbusters fans to buy their other properties.
