I saw that post on Kotaku, thats got to be one of the stupidest things I ever read since if that happened, the game would not have gotten off the ground to begin with.

I would have thought Bill Murray or Ramis would be one of the guesses, not her, considering that Ramis co-wrote the script and you honestly never get Murray to do anything Ghostbusters related.

I think that that demo was sent recently. Here's why:
the date on the disc is common in video game development ( and guy can back me up on this one)

The date on the disc does not represent the date is was sent , It represents the date of the build that they are using.

When I first moved to SD , I got into game testing for about 2 years
(that was before a racism dispute and when I found out how very little sony cares about their video game products)

and every time we were given a disk to play in our units & at our desks, they had the date of the current build on them. This indicates the version of the demo and or full game that you are playing for paperwork purposes as well.

notice that the date was during the days of E3 , that would explain why the footage we saw on G4 during E3 was the same thing we saw at comiccon and why it's in all of the videos. No way a video game company
would send something snail mail without express if they were trying to promote a new game to the video game press. so I think it was recent.

That's way too early for a demo - that'd be good if it was coming in Oct, but it's it's in 09, waaaay too early.
