you know you have a hit when you see many cartoons doing their versions of gb.
today i have seen:
a pup named scooby doo: ghoul gone and critter getters.
alvin and the chipmunks: singing the gb theme. (theodore makes a referance “it's a good thing i wrote down their number during the movie in case we needed it.)
dexter's lab: he catches his goldfish with a ”containment unit"
Johnny Bravo: im and carl try to rid his attic of a pesky ghost and cross the streams.
simpsons: homer likens slimer as a legend

i think there are more feel free to add to the list if you know of any more.

Yep, the only reason the Simpsons is a successful show is because of a few GB refrences…

You forgot the simpsons episode just the other day where homer says hamlet is a good book, and they made it into an even better movie, Ghostbusters! and then the ghosbustesr song starts playing and they all dance too it.

And then thiers the family guy episode where he is a ghostbuster…

we should try to gather all the references we can come up with…

on an episode of cheers the bartender (cant think of his name hes played by woody harilson) is up on the roof, everybody inside is trying to figure out what hes doing, at the end of the episode hes watching a movie a up thier, you dont see it, but you hear Ghostbusters!

plus thiers the SNL references

Tim Meadows and Sting, thier was another one, when sting was the host and the musical guest, but i cant remember it right now…

The Tim Meadows skit is one of my favs!

It goes like this:
Tim Meadows is a relly succesfull jazz musician, but he is popular by ripping off other songs' lyrics!
So, he pickes up the beat (A jazzy tune) and sings:
“Ghostbusters! If there's somethin' strange in your nieghborhood,
who ya' gonna call? Ghostbusters!
I aint friad of no ghost!
I aint friad of no ghosts! Ow!” (He's not even singing it in tune! He's just talking the words!)
Then he is stopped by the producers, and they say:“ You just quoted a whole line from Ray Parker Jr.'s Ghostbusters!”
Tim: “I know, we gettin kinda spooky there! Spooky Jazz ghosts!”

LOL! Funny!

You know, maybe they should stop makin references to GB on other cartoons and just bring the original back!
