the mayan calender storyline is a big HELL Yh for me, i dont believe in it but i am very interested, so for the ghostbusters to REALLLLLLLLLLY save the world maybe this is an awesome way to end GB3, all about doomsday, the end of the world, the day SATAN rises and destroys the world, and only the ghostbusters can stop him, oooooooooooooooooooooooooo what a story lol come on

my question is why bill murray keeps complaining first he wanted to be a ghost in it and have a small cameo now he is complaining that his role is too small he keeps flip floping its kinda annoying i agree he is in the right this time though but still make up your mind already

(*rant)While I understand why the studio wants to introduce a new generation of ghostbusters, I really hope they don't make the new guys the stars of this movie. I think the original team should be the focas of this movie, and if they want to make a fourth movie, then let the new guys be the stars of that one. Us fans have been patiently waiting for decades for a new movie, and we want Ray, peter, winston, and egon! Even though the original guys are old and out of shape (for the most part) they deserve to be the main charecters in this film. I mean why can't their be 8 ghostbusters fighting the bad guy in the end? I am really excited by the possiablity of a third and maybe a fourth movie, but respects have to be paid in this next movie! If I was Bill Murray I would be kinda upset also, I mean he is the star. After the baton is passed in the third film, then have the fourth one be about the new guys. Bill Murray doesn't even need to be in it by that point. I'm sure Dan and Earnie would probably want to make cameos but they wouldn't need to be stars either. When i read Bill say they want the old guys to introduce the new guys then get lost, it kinda bums me out. Don't get me wrong I want a third movie no matter what, in any capacity, I just want it done right. I want it to be better than GB2, because no way it will be better than the first. And I really like GB2, so i have high expectations. ~end rant~

Dan Aykroyd says Bill Murray must've misspoken:

He likes it. (…) I want to retire and hand it over to a young cadre and cadet who can pick up the equipment and drive the car because I'm too old for that now. I hope it's a nice mix, maybe two guys and two girls. We'll find some great young actors. We're probably going to search for unknowns.
