That is when the pack is venting. I don't know if that's what you were trying to point out, or if you thought it was a glitch, but its supposed to look like that.

yes idk why they would make the proton stream overheat the pack everything else i can see but not that. and yes i agree in some shots it looks like dan and then it looks like he dropped 20 years in age lol.

God, the lip syncing SUCKS. Kinda sad that Half Life 2 nailed lip syncing, and that game is over 4 years old.

Graphics look great, but I've always been suspect of the gameplay. I know we finally have a our GBTVG, but it looks like one will get bored really fast.

There's a part of me saying the PS3/360 versions will be great for nostalgia, but the Wii version will be the most fun out of the three.

Does anyone else think that the ‘GHOSTBUSTERS’ banner on th firehouse is a bit unnecessary?

*I've personally always thought it was, ever since I caught abit of “behind-the-scenes” footage with that screen on it little over 8 months ago…I was hoping they would've changed it…

Did you guys notice now the Ecto roof rack is now a trap? I guess it's a nod to the original GB game with the ‘ghost vacum’.

You're more right then you realise. For the Sedgewick they've reproduced more areas of the Biltmore then were ever seen in the movie… the entrance Ecto-1 is parked outside is based on what appears to have been the hotel's old main entrance. The exterior appears to be mostly the level designer's invention but the bit just inside is straight from the Biltmore:




and I also like the banner, as a part of the plot was them wanting to expand into franchises and hire more help I view it as being part of that new recruitment drive.

It was designed so that a player wouldn't just go through the whole level constantly firing their pack. That and it also gives levels a bit more edge and drama to them.

The details of the hotel lobby are friggin amazing.

And as Kingpin said, the venting makes sense so that you can't just run around constantly firing your pack. That would kinda take the suspense out of it. You'd be able to just constantly be firing until you trap the ghost.

And for whoever said this game looks like its gonna get boring really fast… you're nuts.

Yeah sorry, I don't see this getting boring either. Especially with the online mode, that looks like a blast.

I do agree that there is something a little off about Dan's model, but other then that, the demo was freaking amazing, just wish it didn't release the same month as the game, which I've already reserved, yay!
