Someone that is a member here in Ghostbusters.net. Wrote a script, And I know that Dan Arkroyld & Harold Ramis didn't write it. Because they wouldn't release a script to the Internet or to the public. The story had elements of part 1 in it. It was cute but to much like part 1. And Harold Ramis is a talented great writer & Producer. And He wouldn't write part 3 with the same ideas from part 1. And Neither would Dan Arkroyld. Specking of Ghostbusters 3! I read in Imdb that Harold Ramis & Dan Arkroyld had the scripts ready. But Actor Bill Murray declined it. It was said he wasn't to much on sequals. And That Bill Murray said that he would do it. but he wanted to be killed off in the first 5 mins or 10 mins of the movie. He really didn't want to do part 2 some said. But he also pointed out that it would mess up the franzine. So Dan Arkroyld respected Bill Murray as an artist when it came to that. This is what i think if they were going to make another one. They should have made it along time ago. Because Bill Murray, Dan Arkroyld, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson. Have all gotton older. It just seems to much time has passed. Because I was 8 years old when part 2 came out. And I am now 23 about to be 24. So that was like 16 years ago. But It would be pretty cool. And If Bill Murray ever agrees to do it. Than that's great. Harold Ramis I think really wanted to do a 3rd one, And so did Arkroyld. But Bill Murray is the one that doesn't. maybe he will have a change of heart!
I'm not trying to say that they are OLD! I'm a big fan!! And I love Egon! I just feel that they should have made one years later after part 2. But If they ever make another one! I'll be so happy
