LOL… searching for Ghostbusters on Amazon… this came up:

http://www.amazon.com/Kates-Magik-Ghostbuster-Aura-Mist/dp/B001KY4BCI/ref=sr_1_43?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1239309168&sr=8-43

A spray, used by parents, to spray around their kids at night to “scare away monsters and ghosts”.

That's cute and a very good marketing idea.

LOL That product is just a fancy word for “air freshener”, but without so much chemicals.

They stole that from a SNL skit that had Phil Hartman on it. It showed the kid that used it living and the kid that didn't… actually gets ripped apart by the monster. Blood and everything. It was amazing.

I'm sure the marketting gimick is stolen, but the product itself is probably quite old. It's just a herbal remedy.

It's just a herbal remedy.

A bizarre thought just crossed my mind when I read this bit. Maybe it leaves monsters and ghosts too stoned to do anything scary?

If anything, “The Boogieman Cometh” might have played out a bit differently had Mom and Dad used this stuff before sending their kids off to bed:

“Hmm, two good little children fast asleep in their beds, ready for me to…what's that smell?”

(*CUE PURPLE HAZE*)

“grooooooovyyyyyyyyyy…..”

Yeah, yeah, even I knew it was a bad joke when I posted it. Maybe the first rule of GB.net should be, "Do not leave an opening for Nix to make a bad joke if you can help it."
