I totally missed that again, it's a real shame how Ernie gets treated, a really nice bloke when I met him a few years ago.

Looking at the back of the Blu-Ray cover it looks like the disc will be region free, I can see Region A, B, & C displayed.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing really wrong with the blu ray case for Ghostbusters, but I just gotta ask:

Probably because they feel its not “eye catching” enough for a display rack. Which I can't entirely disagree with. It's a great cover, and I would like it as well (the classic black that is), but to get casual customers to pick it up, they need an eye catching cover, which I guess they feel this is.

It would of been nice if they did a flip cover which had a different picture on each side, they used to do this on VHS years ago. So they could have there eye catching picture for display, but when us fans get it home we could flip it over to have the original classic design.

What I'm miffed about is the lack of new deleted scenes, I really want to see that deleted scene at the fort. Wonder what they're doing (if anything) for Ghostbusters II.

I hope they at least include SOME deleted scenes from GB2. The ones of Louis vs Slimer are hilarious.

The Ghostbusters II Blu-Ray has been delayed and there is no date set for it's release at the moment on the Sony website.
