I am the one that posted about needing help for a 11 y/o bday party themed GB's. Well the party was a huge success! I did his cake and promised I would post the pictures here for you all to see. I was able to figure out how to make (edible!) glow in the dark icing for the slime. Soooo cool!!

Yes, the entire cake is edible, including the Stay Puft man.

Weren't those recalled/banned at some point due to allegedly (I'm not sure about the truth of any claims) containing mercury?

Doubtful. They contain either silver or gold/copper on the outside, and in very small amounts. However, in the US they're classified as only fit for decorative purposes.
