Ghostbusters II Comics Auction

Hey all!

I just won an auction of all three issues of the RGB-styled Ghostbusters II comic. My winning bid on ebay was $3.25 for the set(and 3.00 s&h). A site I visited said that the current price would be $3.00 each.

What I want to know is whether or not I got a good deal on this.

Thanks

You paid less than I did for mine–cover price back in 1989

And just think how much the value might skyrocket if the Revival hits big (which we all, of course, hope it will…)

seems like i paid something like $10 for the graphic novel version by NOW. i really doubt the value will “skyrocket”, but who knows… just look at the ECTO-1A models…. friggin EXPENSIVE!

I was one of the lucky ones on ebay as well. I was able to get a set for under 2.00 + 1.50 shipping, and I also got a double set later when I purchased other comic lots for RBG. I was thrilled since I love these issues!

Just wanted to update that I received the set last week and they are in excellent condition. Now I just gotta figure out a way to keep them that way…….forever.
Suggestions?

Well, you could never read them…

you should buy those little plastic bags the make for comic books, I have about 3,917 of them, they're really handy, you just slide the book in, and slide it out when you want to read it. It keeps dust off, and keeps it flat for the most part. Of course I'd also suggest those cardboard backings for comic books, stick two of them on either side of the bag, it would ensure your book stays flat.

The seller was kind enough to send the comics with cardboard backing and bagged.
