It would've been cool had they taken the painted ghost concept and applied it to the full line.

Wouldn't have been as good as those, of course, but it really makes them pop having their eyes and teeth different colours from their bodies.

The painted ghosts look fantastic! Definitely wish that style would've been applied to the US versions.

The painted mouths on the guys though? No thanks. That looks pretty bad.

Yeah, I don't like the painted mouths either, but has anyone heard of these in a production sample, carded test sample or even maybe salesman sample?

I would be willing to trade for a MOC set if anyone is interested.

I even got the seller to get me a letterhead from the desk of a Kenner Employee stating “Enjoy the figures” and his signature.

I HIGHLY doubt anyone is going to trade you a MOC set for these. Anyone could do those paint jobs themselves. You might get someone who's interested in them for their rarity, but I doubt anyone thinks they're worth a full set of MOC first series figures.
