I don't know if any of you played the Ghostbusters games for the original nintendo. Back in the day (don't know how old you are) but they were pretty hard…but interresting.

To all the people interested in a GB RPG game…..I don't know if I want to even do it. Have you seen my crossover fanfics? My latest just got a 1! The 2 people who rated it called it crap, and that it's no good. If this is what I'm going to get from people, I don't know if I even want to put forth the effort only 2 or 3 people are going to appreciate. I wonder if Mary Spengler and Mario just hate me? Is that it?

For PC:
Actually thinking about it, the Operation Flashpoint engine would be good… It can handle teams, massive areas with lots of buildings, and it can handle tons of useable vehicles (ahem, Ecto-1)… adding the ability to jump would be nice, huge new-york map…select a leader then tell team memers where to go, etc…?
Im just looking for an excuse to drive Ecto

Lemme put it this way: The owners of the license will go to whatever platforms they think will make them money. Simple as that. Sony/Columbia is a huge company and they cannot play favored nations all the time like that. There's just too many people involved. It's not like the PS2 guys work across the hall from the movie guys.
That said, I keep talking about a 3rd-person action/adventure, a la MGS or Tomb Raider, which I would love to see made for any system anywhere.

I have only played the Genesis version, it was good, but it didn't follow the story. They had some good weapons such as the bubble blower, and the three-way shot. The best part is when you get to trap a generic ghosts.

what would be cool would be a multi-format game, the film story, not an invented one. where you can control all 4 ghostbusters…like Ray driving ecto 1, peter blasting…….
